Step 1 · Damage signs

What storm damage looks like.

  • 01Hail bruising and cracked shingles
  • 02Missing or creased tabs after wind
  • 03Granules collecting in gutters
  • 04Dented vents, flashing and ridge caps
  • 05Leaks or stains on ceilings
New brown architectural shingles running to the ridge past a brick chimney
Step 2 · What your policy coversRef. ROOFING-01

Most homeowners policies cover sudden storm damage like hail and wind. When the damage is widespread, that can mean a full roof replacement rather than a patch — we document it so the carrier can see that.

Every policy is different. We review yours with you — honestly — before anything is filed.

Step 3 · Our claim process

We work the claim. You get the new roof.

  1. 01

    Inspect & document

Every elevation photographed and measured, storm damage to the roof logged the way an adjuster reads it.

  2. 02

    File & advocate

We help you file, then meet your adjuster on site so the scope matches the damage — not a quick look from the driveway.

  3. 03

    Push for approval

Missed items get supplemented with evidence. Partial approvals get challenged, not accepted.

  4. 04

    Replace & walk through

Full replacement on approved scope, site cleared, and a final walkthrough with you.

Step 4 · Full replacement

Built back right.

Full tear-off to the decking, soft or rotted plywood replaced, ice and water shield at eaves and valleys, new flashing, vents and ridge, then new shingles to the manufacturer’s specification.

FAQ

Roofing claim questions.

How can I tell if my roof has hail damage?

Hail bruising rarely shows from the ground. Signs to watch for are granules in the gutters, dented vents or downspouts, and damage on cars or decks after a storm. A free inspection is the reliable answer.

Will insurance replace my whole roof or just repair it?

It depends on how widespread the damage is and your policy. Our job is to document the full extent so the carrier’s decision is based on everything that is actually there.

What if my claim was already denied or partially approved?

Call us. We review the adjuster’s scope against the roof and, where the evidence supports it, push back with supplements or a re-inspection.

Is the inspection really free?

Yes. We inspect the roof, siding and gutters, photograph what we find and tell you straight whether there is storm damage worth claiming. No cost, no obligation, no pressure.

Do I pay anything?

On an approved claim, the replacement is paid by your insurance carrier. Your share is normally your policy deductible — we walk you through the numbers in writing before anything is signed.

How does the claim process work?

We document the damage, help you file (or pick up a claim you already filed), meet your adjuster at the property, and push for a scope that matches the real damage. Once approved, we schedule and complete the full replacement.
